JOB PURPOSE
“Global travel agency” operations manager – this role will sit as a hybrid role where responsibility extends beyond agency remit and into client tasks. A great opportunity for a strong Account Manager to get deeper into a client’s organization and to take ownership of tasks; from campaign activation tasks to reporting and finance.

This media-planning position will offer the selected candidate an opportunity to grow their knowledge of international media landscapes and develop expertise in global media planning and strategic consultancy. It is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious Account Director looking for an integrated client / agency role and where the right candidate will have ownership of projects and the capacity to be involved in proactive asks and forward thinking.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a strong knowledgebase and understanding of the client’s business, functions, workstreams & processesSupport in client meetings on all things operations: timelines/processes etcSupport across cross channel plan governance – across all channels inc. YT / FB / SocialManage campaign approvals – ensuring Booking.com stakeholders are clear of what’s required and whenProvide organized timelines for all projects and campaigns which cover client side and agency tasksProvide production delivery supportSupport trafficking process and build in efficienciesOwn MAP – our plan reporting system and liaise with MAP support team where requiredManage markets and their inputs into MAPProvide support and oversight market management of the auditing processLead billing & financial tasks ensuring budget/invoice trackers are delivered each month and ensuring local market invoicing is on point – iValua platform lead – support on day to daySupport with all data management & competitive asks, ensuring monthly dashboard checks and market comms for data accuracyAssist with network management by sending requests and gathering informationBuild relationships with key local offices in order to take ownership of individual projects Join the local market/client status calls to gather the latest status for each market, work with local teams to share next steps and deliver follow ups Assist the team with client requests and meeting preparationsStrive for the best in network management – review and refine everything before sharing with the clientsDevelop close relationships with the key Booking.com clients, our colleagues at other agencies and potential media partners Establish yourself as a key contact point for operations across agency
SKILLS
 Substantial experience in media planning with a solid grasp of the traditional and digital media landscapeAbility to demonstrate experience of media operationsInquisitive and eager to learn and develop as an operational leadShow an active interest and maintain knowledge of all media channelsDemonstrates a high degree of accuracy and numeracy in the analysis and manipulation of dataUnderstands and uses methods for checking work to ensure accuracy and confidence in numbersExcellent organisational skills with excellent written, verbal, analytical and numerical skillsStrong communication skillsAbility to navigate internal agency & client structures to ensure the process is followed
