The Network and Schedule Planning team sets the strategic direction and everyday operation of the world’s largest airline network. Thinking of the network as a complex puzzle, through cross-departmental collaboration and teamwork, we are able to create worldwide connections for our customers. Network Planning is currently recruiting motivated candidates for our Global Planning team. You will be in charge of making three key decisions: where we fly, how often, and what aircraft is deployed. You will play a key role in our commitment to care for customers on life’s journey by connecting them to what matters most.
What you’ll do
Track industry trends and use both internal and external data to identify lucrative opportunities to improve the existing route network as well as add to our ever-growing list of destinations
Work collaboratively with other facets of the company such as Revenue Management and Sales to develop analyses and forecasts to advance our network in this dynamic business
Develop and deliver data analyses, data visualization reports, presentations and other documentation necessary to share capacity plans with internal stakeholders
Maintain reports that contribute to our understanding of our successes and where improvements can be made that align with our commercial goals and drive results
Help support new initiatives that reshape and rethink how our hub structures function, new and existing alliances and interact with the rest of the airline
Focus on constructing a future-oriented airline that remains relevant to our diverse customer base
All you’ll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/training
Minimum 1 year’ experience in airline Network Planning/Scheduling, Revenue Management or analytical field

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to solve complex problems and puzzles in a constrained and dynamic environment
Ability to leverage understanding of the airline business and commercial goals to drive results and innovative solutions
Adaptive to new ideas and business processes in an ever-changing marketplace
Ability to challenge oneself and the team to develop future-oriented network strategies
Ability to work with cross-functional groups to drive outcomes
Skills in Microsoft Office
