Responsible for reporting and analyzing data related to credit card fraud with a key role in supporting current and future process improvement initiatives.What you’ll doPerforms daily monitoring and regular analysis of credit card transactionsDelivers efficient and accurate reporting of fraud dataPrepares mid-month and month-end reports, in addition to completing ad-hoc reportsProactively identified and evaluates fraud trends across multiple sales channelsProvides in depth, ad-hoc analysis including identifying and applying trends and root cause analysisPerforms daily detailed analysis of declines and chargebacks to improve operational performanceDevelops presentations that summarize and communicates findings to managementMakes recommendations to management on long-term strategic plans for fraud strategiesIdentifies issues, proposes solutions and coordinates/contributes to implementationWorks with management and end-users to address data and process concernsSupports initiatives, projects and vendor relationshipsAll you’ll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED Equivalency1 year related work experience in similar field/positionGeneral knowledge of payments, credit cards or fraud preventionPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/trainingSkills, Licenses & CertificationsKnowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.Knowledge of basic SQLKnowledge of BI tools like TableauAbility to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develops solutions to business problems andoperational challengesAbility to both read and create processing flowsProven track record of demonstrating analytical aptitudeAbility to manage multiple relationships and projects, prioritizes opportunities, and takes initiatives towards achieving common goalsAbility to independently identify issues, analyze data and propose solutionsAbility to present to various levels of management and tailor presentations as appropriate for each audienceStrong organizational skillsAbility to build relationships and interact productivelyAbility to wok effectively as part of a team, as well as successfully in an independent roleWillingness to show initiative and take ownership of job responsibilitiesSelf-starter with logical, analytical, organizational and innovation skillsCreative thought process, visionary attitude and innate curiosityWhat you’ll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer:Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
