Description: In home Appliance TechnicianJob Location: USA, North, Central and Southern NJJob Posting Title: In home Appliance Service Technician“The Oceanic Way” is utilizing our Company Values, Company Wide Standards, Brand Promise and Systems in all decisions and actions. Consider these as your guiding light while making decisions.COMPANY VALUESOceanic was and will always be about caring for all members, all people who make up Oceanic Repair. And who are those people? Everyone! The customers, the manufacturers that trust us with their products, our business family of employees who work to serve, and everyone who is touched by us. That does not mean every customer will fit the vision, but we strive to help everyone. We live the vision and the value of:H.U.G.SH is for Happy.Happy people are nicer to work with and for. Anger, sadness, complacency, laziness, bickering, gossiping, these feelings and actions have a cancerous effect. It starts small but grows and kills the host. Focusing on the happy helps to divert the negative.U is for Understanding.I have made mistakes, you have made mistakes, we treat you with understanding while teaching you the correct thinking that would have resulted in the correct actions, those are oceanic ways. Understanding, (understanding) I use this analogy often for this lesson. Imagine you’re driving in the fast lane and someone behind you is riding awfully close, flailing their arms, looking like they are crazy. It is getting uncomfortable, and you are getting mad. They will not leave you alone until you move over, and they pass you hastily. Yes, you could be angry, annoyed from this interaction. But imagine now you found out later that they had a small child in the backseat, and he was hurt, and they were rushing him to the hospital, you should feel two very different emotions. With the focus on understanding, one would play whatever situation from the highest, best position which will only benefit everyone, and it makes your tasks easier once you apply this lesson.G is for Grateful. A spoiled child doesn’t care if he gets the newest, greatest toy, he is used to it and expects it. The child who worked for what he has is grateful and cares for everything in a way the spoiled child will likely never understand.Being grateful means to know everything is fleeting, things change and smelling the roses is a good life lesson. I am grateful for so much, for you and for the greatness I have been blessed with. I say this because it is a job, but it is a company that understands that there is more to life than a job. It’s good to be grateful.S is for Supportive. We lean on each other. All the life and business tasks aside, sometimes people are not nice, not good and they are still our customer. We support each other, work through difficulties, and understand that we as a team grow and thrive when we support each other.Oceanic Repair is looking for a motivated Appliance Factory Service Technician to conduct in-home appliance repairs.
