Job description We are recruiting for two Audit RI Directors to join BDO, an accountancy and business advisory firm, to join their Natural Resources and Energy sector in London. One position will be focussed on Audit Quality Review (AQR) and the other will focus on Private Finance Initiatives (PFIs). This permanent opportunity if offering a salary of £90,000, plus 6% cash allowance, which will be reviewed regularly in line with performance. About the role: The Audit RI Directors will be joining as a vital member of this growing and dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for servicing clients, directing all assurance services delivered, managing the team and supporting the Partners with business development and practice management. Key responsibilities include; Accountable for own portfolio of Audited Entities as a Responsible Individual, agreeing signing authority in conjunction with Head of AuditFinancial measurements, and management, including ownership of profit and lossPlay a key role in supporting Partners in all group sales and marketing activity, including leading pitch teams, attendance at group networking, the development of new business relationships and other marketing events as appropriateAct as a liaison between the Audited Entity and other specialist service groups within BDORepresents the firm in the external marketDevelop, execute and manage the marketing and business development strategy for own portfolio About you: ACA/ACCA/ICAS qualified, or equivalentSignificant experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to major clients, including listed (full list and AIM) clients and clients with international interestsExcellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirementsManaging and developing staff (not only audit teams), i.e. coordinating staff projects, mentoring, counselling, appraising, recruiting etc.Business development experience – able to identify and convert opportunities to sell workProven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework Additional Information: Location: Central London Duration: Permanent Salary: £90,000, plus 6% cash allowance Benefits: 25 day’s holiday, a personal pension scheme with matched employer contributions, life assurance cover and income protection cover.
