Company description: Exertis UK Job description: As the Credit Risk Assessor you are the link between our Customers, Sales and Finance. The purpose of the Credit Risk Assessor is to process and assess customer applications received by Exertis, carry out credit checks, evaluate and update existing credit accounts. The day-to-day of the Credit Risk Assessor Check applications, check the system for duplications, obtain credit checksPrint and match the credit checks to the application, request additional information, e.g Utility bills and company checksMake decisions on the applications Approve, Decline or guarantee’sChanging details on live accountsCalling customers to chase for Year End accounts and CCJ Satisfaction noticeWorking with customers on their credit risk exposureOther ad hoc duties include, understanding of cleared balances to keep accounts open, working with credit insurance, brokers and credit rating agencyCommunication with internal and external stakeholders via all mediumsBuilding strong relationships and ensure communication between departments is effective and consistentEnsuring Accounts Receivable Department is adequately always coveredGeneral Accounts Administration including filing and retrieval of paperworkAny other duties deemed appropriate for the departmentUnderstanding and complying with all company policies and proceduresDemonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct
