Sunrise Support Services is a debt settlement company located in New York City is seeking a Negotiator. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best settlements possible while providing transparent communication. Negotiators will build relationships with creditors, while working from emails and spreadsheets to assist our clients in obtaining the best settlements. They will be responsible for managing/prioritizing the day-to-day task to be the most efficient and productive account manager.Roles and Responsibilities: Work as part of a team of Negotiators to achieve monthly targetsResponsible for maintaining, updating & optimizing customer accounts in our CRM systemAssess clients’ assets & liabilities & overall financial conditions for negotiationsAnalyze financial statements obtained from clients to determine strategies to help clients overcome debt & achieve financial freedom.Handle incoming emails from both clients and creditorsAssist in calculating & negotiating settlements on behalf of our clients.Submit client settlement for approvalsNegotiate with creditors, collection agencies, and attorney offices for reduced settlements on delinquent and/or charged off accounts on behalf of our clientsCalculate acceptable settlement amounts according to guidelines set forth by the companyEffectively manage an active pipeline of customer accountsReview client accounts to determine availability of fundsGather and submit required documentation for approval and payment of settlements and feesUtilize multi-tasking and communication skills with clients and co-workersRequirements: High school diploma2+ years of negotiation experience (preferably in debt settlement)Previous debt settlement experience (preferred)Financial industry experienceExcellent attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.Fantastic time management and organizational skillsA pleasant, friendly attitude, with an ability to adapt to change.Team player who possesses excellent interpersonal skills & communication abilities, with a high degree of self confidenceStrong technical skills.Proficient in Word, Excel & OutlookJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hourPhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One locationShow more
