The Digital Media Analyst will implement and execute strategic media plans across display, video and audio that drive traffic and sales for DICK’S Sporting Goods by leveraging data to support day-to-day channel operations through ongoing analysis of core business and media performance. The Digital Media Analyst will assist managers in executing digital media through multiple channels and manage cross-functional marketing projects and initiatives as it relates to digital media.
Develop data driven strategic media plans (both vendor and DKS) across display, video, and audio based on media brief
Develop original content and suggest creative ways to promote our brand, in alignment with our broader marketing strategies in order to create cohesive brand campaigns and messaging
Communicate media plans to Programmatic Display Trader for campaign set-up
Develop and maintain channel roadmaps and test and learn plans; perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for tagging and analytics; troubleshoot business critical issues as they transpire
Serve as the subject matter expert to cross functional partners for their media channel(s). Share insights, best practices and new techniques
Proactively and continuously ask “What’s Next” in terms of driving further ROI for the business from our digital marketing and analytics efforts
Assist in Programmatic Display Trading tasks and projects, as needed.
Build effective relationships with internal partners (CRM, Analytics, Brand, Creative, Planning, Insights) to allow for collaboration
Research and summarize findings on new and emerging ad technology
Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices in digital media (betas, ad network updates, innovation opportunities, etc.)
Remain abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks
Analyze reporting results and help identify opportunities and strengths as it relates to the competitiveness the campaign
Partner with Programmatic Display Trader to analyze campaign performance and develop/deliver insightful campaign reports
Analyze and translate data-based findings into clear, relevant and actionable insights

Bachelor’s Degree or in a related field
1 – 3 years experience in programmatic display, a plusShow more
