Director of Talent Management- $110k-$130k + Annual BonusNorthStar AnesthesiaNorthStar Anesthesia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Talent Management to join a dynamic, results-driven HR team. The desired candidate possesses a strong background in creating and driving talent strategies including learning & development initiatives, leadership development programs, best in class performance management programs, and strategic workforce planning programs for fast-growing companies. The Director of Talent Management will shape and implement talent strategies that will drive best in class talent initiatives that develop, engage, and retain high-performing employees. We are seeking a passionate HR professional that thrives in a high-growth, mission-driven environment and loves to build and nurture new initiatives.Essential FunctionsPromote and support NorthStar’s core values, performing all duties and responsibilities with a responsive sense of urgency in support of our corporate objectivesSupport and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives locally and across NorthStarDesign and drive progressive talent management strategies for clinical teams, in collaboration with HR Partner team, that include succession planning, assessment of potential, talent reviews, and individual development planningSpearhead employee engagement initiatives at NorthStar – conducting regular employee feedback surveys and listening sessions, surveying employees throughout their employment journey, and facilitating a process that allows department leaders and managers to drive action planning following the annual employee engagement surveyDesign and enhance training programs that meet the needs of leaders across all levels of the organization (e.g., skill-based, management, individual, and team training)Obsessively drive improvements to the new hire onboarding process for clinical and corporate staff, focusing on best-in-class communications and supportDevelop scalable coaching and mentoring opportunities for employeesPartner with HR leadership to recommend, research and implement new approaches, policies, procedures, and tools with a focus on scaleLead change management efforts through business changes such as new business growth, acquisitions, systems implementations, and process and policy enhancementsWork with Director of Compensation and HR Partner team to enhance current process for promotions, particularly in the corporate offices and in clinical leadership rolesLead the Talent Development team, employing management best practices to maximize the team to drive outsized talent outcomes within annual Talent Development budgetQualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum of ten (10) years of progressive Human Resources experienceExperience in the health care industry preferred, specifically working with clinical providersDemonstrated project management with the ability to partner with diverse stakeholders to meet ambitious timetables, milestones, and deliverablesAbility to work in a team environment, manage multiple clients, and provide strong consultative skillsAdept at communicating effectively across all levels of internal and external stakeholders while inspiring confidenceProven success communicating key HR initiatives across multiple channels and to a diverse set of key stakeholdersAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software, experience with Workday Learning and Talent modules a plusKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think creatively, highly driven, self-motivated, highly organizedStrong executive presence with the ability to present regularly to executive leadersAbility to create and deliver high value presentations to executives, staff, and clinicians through the design of compelling Microsoft Office PowerPoint decks or other mediumsEntrepreneurial spirit with the desire to build and create programs from the ground-upAbility to be flexible and adapt traditional corporate strategies and approaches to clinical leadership and clinical practice managementThe ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion with highly sensitive informationExceptional leadership and organizational skillsSome travel is requiredCompetenciesChange managementDrives cultureValues differencesOrganization and time managementInitiative and adaptabilityAttention to detailTeamworkDiversityNorthStar Anesthesia is committed to having a workforce that celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion.
