We have achievedthis by:Always representing our client’s best interests.Bringing the best professionals to every project.Delivering a combination of practical, technical and regulatory expertise that ensures solutions to each project.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and discuss safety programs and efforts with on-site subcontractors and ASG employees, ensuring safety is part of our culture and that all new hires have proper safety documents and informationConduct documented safety and health inspections no less than twice per month, coordinating compliance reports with ASG insurance companyCoordinate with Project Supervision so that necessary protective equipment and safety materials are utilized, adequate first aid materials are available and safety documents are posted on-siteInvestigate all injuries and review all accident reports, coordinating corrective measures with ASG employees and logging injuries/illnesses for OSHA purposesMinimize construction hazards and enforce safety policies utilizing the company’s disciplinary policyConduct/coordinate Project Safety “Toolbox” meetings with all ASG employees on a weekly basisRecord and forward copies of all safety related meetings, programs, safety pre-plans, inspections, correspondence, directives, citations, etc. to the Division Safety Director for trackingSkills & Qualifications5+ years experience managing safety efforts on large scale projectsASP, CHST, STS-COSHA 500 (OPTIONAL)Ability to manage/administer safety orientations, oversee substance abuse programs, investigate/report on injuries/illnesses/near misses and perform other various safety functions on-siteAbility to work with all construction groups- management, owners, trades and subcontractorsExcellent communication, organizational, decision-making and problem solving skillsNationwide travel (OPTIONAL)Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, TemporaryPay: $25.00 – $55.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftOn callWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Safety: 2 years (Preferred)Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location:Multiple locationsWork Remotely:NoShow more
