Full Time Nanny for Fun Family in Staten Island, NYCOMPENSATION: SALARY: $65k annually + D.O.E.Number of Hours Per Week: 55Access to family vehicle to transport children from school/activities.Reimbursement of any necessary travel expenses.Full health insurance (including vision and dental).Two weeks of paid vacation.Paid Major Holidays, Sick/Mental Health/Personal Days, Paid Vacation.Family offers an annual bonus and a review for an Annual Raise based on performance.Mid-April start date.JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES: Nanny needed for 4 small children in Staten Island, NY for a loving family HIRING ASAP!There are 4 children; girl (7), girl (5), boy (3), boy (1)The girls are in school most days from 8AM-3PM and the Nanny will not be responsible for them during these hours.The boys require a lot of attention and are getting into everything!The older son is very active. A Nanny that is very active and playful and enjoys going on walks and doing physical activity will be a great fit in this job. The parents are hands on when they are available and want a Nanny that doesn’t mind parents being around at times and considers herself a part of the team.The family is hoping for a LONG-TERM commitment from this Nanny and someone who has long-term experience at previous jobs.Pitch-in attitude regarding general maintenance and cleanliness of children.Cooks for children and preps meals for them.Feed, bathe, change, and dress children, as needed.Adhere to children’s schedule, including naps/sleep and activities.Facilitate intellectual development (eg. words, numbers, enrichment, etc).Facilitate physical development (eg. running, stacking, using utensils, etc) in a high-energy, creative and playful way.Manage all aspects of children’s property with utmost cleanliness and organization – including, meals/snacks and clean-up, hanging clothes, cleaning toys/books, etc.Your typical nanny duties will involve everything pertaining to the children; feedings, diaper changes, children’s laundry, nap routine, keeping track of children’s items to ensure they stay stocked, planning engaging and age-appropriate activities, and eventually potty training for the youngest son. The 3yo is virtually potty-trained and most likely will be 100% potty-trained by the time this position starts.The parents are seeking someone warm, loving, reliable, organized, and engaging with a happy, positive energy to enjoy young children and grow with their family for years to come.Must have experience juggling multiple little kids alone.SCHEDULE: The schedule is Monday through Friday from approximately 7:30AM to 6:30PM each day. Additional hours may be required with advance notice. Guaranteed 55 hours per week.7:30-8:30 am – Nanny will arrive and help wake up the children. The older two girls leave for school and Nanny is left with the two younger boys.8:30-10:30am – Nanny will play with the boys, clean kids’ rooms, begin any laundry, breakfast and other meal prep, etc.Nanny will do kids’ laundry and clean up breakfast while the youngest boy is napping sometime around here. This includes folding and putting away all laundry for all children.11:30 – Nanny will wake up the youngest and continue any house organization, laundry or meal prep.Lunch at 12pm – for both boys.12:30-1:30 – the nanny can take a break or do some meal prep.1:30-3:30 – the older boy takes his nap. This is also a great time for laundry, clean-up or other duties.3:30-5:30 – The older two girls arrive back from school around this time. The youngest boy goes down for a second nap and the Nanny must juggle three of the children 2-3 days per week when the Mom is out of the house. During this time, the children are bathed and playing indoors. The Nanny will prepare dinner for the kids.6-6:30 Dinner – The Nanny cleans up the kitchen, dinner, and any other toys or projects from the kids and is then done for the day.On a rare occasion, the Nanny may be asked to stay until 7 or 7:30 with advance notice.2-3 days per week the Mom is home throughout the day and is managing children side by side with the Nanny.ABOUT THE FAMILY: Fabulous, fun family who is very Covid cautious seeks a passionate & professional, yet not-afraid-to-be silly, hands-on FULL-TIME NANNY to join their team and family!This thoughtful family is looking for a nanny to focus on their 3-year-old and 1-year-old sons and support the older girls after school.The parents both have jobs that require them to be engaged on calls and in meetings most of the day and they need someone to give full-time care to their two youngest children.Dad is full-time WFH for the time being.Mom works half-to-three quarters of the week from outside the home and will be around and helping as well 2 days per week.ABOUT THE NANNY: Family is strict on COVID, please be comfortable wearing a mask in the home at all times.The ideal candidate is warm, passionate and truly loves hanging out with kids all day.
