A Private Equity backed Health Tech business are looking to appoint a Group Financial Controller. The business has seen strong growth both in the UK and internationally and they are looking for a rising star to join their management team. The role will be responsible for ensuring the business has robust financial processes and controls as well as supporting the CFO on driving overall financial performance. As the Financial Controller, you shall work as part of the leadership team within the finance function and have responsibility for a team of 10. The business shall also be going through an exit in the next 2 years, providing a unique and exciting opportunity for someone to be closely involved in a large PE transaction. Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to: To provide financial leadership for all financial transactionsDay to day team management and running of the UK finance functionLead the monthly close process to support the timely production of monthly financial statements, Board packs and PE investor reportsEnsure financial integrity and quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingManage and comply with all statutory returnsDevelop and implement business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiencyProduction of meaningful analysis and insights for management and investorsProduction of operational MI & KPI’s for the finance functionAdditional controller duties as necessary. In order to succeed in this role; Considerable experience as a Financial Controller C.5 Years + PQEPractice trained with ACA qualificationDirect industry and practice experience working with SME’s/PE backed entitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth & continually changing environmentStrong technical financial / accounting skills and thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (FRS 102)The ability to account for complex M&A structures involving both debt and equity instruments;Considerable experience line managing, developing and growing a high performing team If you meet the above-mentioned criteria, please apply below.
