Grosvenor Casino is looking for a Head Chef to bring together all the ingredients for culinary success in our Casino. We would like our Head Chef to lead the way in creating a venue of choice by delivering tasty, homely food through leadership of the kitchen brigade. You will; Acknowledge, welcome and assist customersLive our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility and SolutionsCollaborate and work as part of the wider casino management teamRecruit, train, develop and retain chefs and kitchen personnel; creates plans for the team by agreed objectives and goals in appraisals and reviewsResponsible for stock control and achieving business GP marginsSchedules and organizes regular menu taste panels for the FOH teamManages and meets the expectations of the NSF, EHO and relevant auditsReview of menus and feedback to the FB team in head officeAll menus are delivered to brand standards and menu specificationManages expectations behind the pass as well as in the outlets, driving customer and employee engagement. Qualifications Minimum three years’ experience as a sous chef in a reputed restaurant, pub or culinary focused operationAdvanced level certification in food safety, preferably at level 3 or higherPrior experience in a branded environment Additional Information £11.41-£15.50 per hour dependent on experience, Salary is negotiable for the right candidate. Must have extensive experience as a chef, must be very knowledgeable of running a kitchen team, must have full knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety must be confident with Implementation of menus and must be great with change
