Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser Position Summary Performs exams, takes ear impressions, fits, cleans, adjusts, and orders hearing aid product and supplies. Performs front desk duties and provides a high level of member service.Job Duties/Essential Functions Performs Hearing Aid Dispenser duties consisting of consultations and exams. Uses equipment located inside a booth for testing and ear impressions. Recommends hearing devices, places orders, and refers for further care if needed. Uses tooling and equipment to perform fittings, adjustments, and cleanings on hearing aid devices.Provides prompt courteous member services and responds to any customer problems.Properly trains customers in caring for their hearing devices, such as intrinsic cleaning and brushing.Performs front desk duties consisting of scheduling for booths, cycle, and workforce central. Answers phone calls, replies to emails, orders supplies, coordinates walk-ups, and maintains filing records.Loads, operates cash register, and performs money transactions with customers.Submits and receives orders for hearing aid supplies and office supplies.Follows safety and security procedures, follows PPE requirements, and maintains cleanliness of the department.Cleans and sanitizes hearing aids, equipment, and work surfaces per department’s standards.Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machineryHearing aid, otoscope, audiometer, impression gun, impression syringe, device vacuum, testing equipment, and small hearing aid components, Phone, fax, copier, email, computer, cash register, hand-held scanner, private vehicleNon-Essential FunctionsAssists with front end duties as necessary.Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery Cash register, tabletop/hand-held scanners, carts, and flatbeds.Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/CertificationsRequired: Valid Driver’s License required.Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist License or Registration as required by state law.Other ConditionsManagement will review the Job Analysis for this position prior to a job offer.Apart from any religious or disability considerations, open availability is needed to meet the needs of the business.
