Under the general direction of the Vice President, Immigration Services, the Immigration Specialist provides daily immigration support to the Americas as part of MSI’s Immigration Practice Group.PRIMARY JOB COMPONENTS: Serve as a key resource to client populations for the Americas. Liaise between employees, outside legal counsel, and key internal stakeholders on all immigration matters assigned. Coordinate with outside legal counsel for the timely filing of immigration petitions, travel letters, and work permits. Provide client(s) a compliant, comprehensive, and efficient process to support their immigration needs. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all immigration paperwork including, but not limited to, applications, forms, letters of invitation, etc. Provide guidance to employee and employer regarding documents, cost & time requirements for visa application. Prepare all regional invoices, review financial records (e.g., vendor invoices, purchase orders, etc.), and prepare ad hoc reports on financial data as needed. In cooperation with U.S. Immigration Counsel, conduct fact finding calls with client(s) to provide an overview of upcoming visa processes and address questions as needed. Follow up with client(s) to obtain specific outstanding documentation necessary for file completion. Update and manage the case management system to ensure latest versions are available. Store and manage documents in the case management system ensuring personal and corporate documents are logged, expiration dates, and relevant immigration information is entered on a daily basis. Provide routine case monitoring as requested by Vice President, Immigration Services and/or based on a specific guideline (e.g., weekly reports, expiration lists etc.) Provide support to the U.S. Immigration cases as required, including case management, data entry, and file preparation. Assist on special projects as directed.Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Business, Human Resources etc.) Strong interest in the legal field, particularly global immigration or U.S. immigration. Must posses a minimum of 1 year experience in immigration.”Work Location:One locationWork RemotelyYesJob Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Immigration: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: RemoteShow more
