Maximus is currently looking for remote Bilingual Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to support the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Call Center. CSRs in this position will provide knowledgeable responses to telephone inquiries regarding account, tax-filing and Covid-19 stimulus questions. To prepare you for this role, Maximus provides paid, comprehensive training which ensures our customer service representatives care for each caller with the highest levels of knowledge and professionalism.Pay and Benefits: Pay rate is based on locationThe opportunity to work from the comfort of your homeLeadership support to ensure successEssential Responsibilities: Handles customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone, recording consistent problem areas – may respond to e-mail inquiriesCustomer service is the primary functionCalls are basic and routineUses computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshootingMay respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staffResponsibilities: Provide responses to telephone inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, using pre-scripted responsesFollow policies and standard operating procedures such as filling out timesheets, adhering to privacy rules and responding to numerous phone inquiries.Utilize standard technology such as telephone, e-mail, and web browser to perform job duties.Assist caller(s) with filling out online applications and submitting electronically to plan provider for processing.Complete basic call log related to the phone inquiries such as clicking radio buttons to confirm which scripts were read to the callerRefer calls as required to CSR LeadMaintain up-to-date knowledge of client regulations and policiesReport problems that occur via the online system so they can be addressed by the appropriate partiesRespond to telephone inquiries within staffing and time parametersWorking special holidays and/or overtime may be requiredRegular and predictable attendance is requiredAll personnel will be required by contract to undergo program update training as the program changesQualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 6 months of customer service experienceMust be able to speak and read English and Spanish fluentlyMust be able to pass both criminal background check and IRS tax review due to the sensitive nature of this workHome Office Requirements: Access to Wi-Fi, LAN (wired connection/ethernet) or bothPrivate, secure workspacePersonal computer & headset with microphoneJob Types: Full-time, TemporaryBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)Language:Spanish (Preferred)Work Location:Fully RemoteWork Remotely:YesShow more
