Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Receptionist is to receive all incoming calls into the Division during normal business operation hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. This role will also be responsible for greeting all incoming visitors, customers, and Teammates into the administration building Lobby and assisting them with any needs they may have. The successful candidate will be expected to cross train and potentially back up hourly positions within the administrative group. The Receptionist will be expected to maintain a positive attitude, treat all calls, and lobby visitors with the utmost respect. This role will report directly to the HR Supervisor and be a member of the HR Team. As a member of the HR team, the Receptionist will participate in HR duties, as assigned. This could include assisting with offsite events such as recruiting or division activities.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
Previous office experience required. Microsoft Office Suite experience required. Successful candidate may not have any relatives employed with Nucor. Preferred Qualifications:
