The Asda Service Technology team are recruiting for a Junior Change & Release Analyst to work within the Change and Release Management function in Asda House. We are looking for an individual who has a good understanding of Service and/ or the ITIL framework, preferably with exposure to the Change and/or Release functions. This is a junior role within the team where you will be surrounded by experienced colleagues who will train and mentor you to take your career to the next level.
Your RoleAs a Junior Change & Release Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting both Project and BAU releases within the Asda estate, ensuring associated Changes are appropriately approved and successfully implemented to Production. You will also be involved in the operation of the Change Management processes for all business services and underlying technical services covered by Asda technology, ensuring any negative impact is minimised in order to avoid operational disruption to the business.
The successful candidate will report to the Change & Release Manager, with additional responsibilities including the communication of Change and Release updates to key stakeholder groups and ensuring that all Changes and Releases adhere to the relevant standards and follow appropriate governance. Key stakeholder groups are internal ASDA Technology teams, third party vendors and ASDA/ George business colleagues.

About YouA solid knowledge of IT and the underlying processes, and an understanding of Service Management tools, such as Service Now.
Knowledge of relevant industry standard methodologies, frameworks & best practices (ITIL).Preference of working within a Change and/ or Release environment or Service team with exposure to the Change and Release functions.
