(NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SECURITY POSITION)Job Summary Office Administrator/Concierges help in the delivery of a more relevant, organized, and vibrant employee experience by encouraging operational excellence and fostering a sense of community. They benefit and support all types of work, but they’re especially useful for individuals that operate in more fluid dynamics, collaborative environments.The following are some examples of responsibilities:Conference Room Set-Up & Clean-Up:Clean white boards as requiredStraighten up office furniture in-between meetings and as requiredCheck equipment to ensure in working condition and place calls for necessary repairsCafé Maintenance & Supply Management:Keep spaces clean and organized (i.e. wipe counters and microwaves)Order coffee and other needs. Ensure par levelsLoad and empty dishwashers as requiredCatering:Present catering menu options upon requestSet-up meeting rooms for catering needs and clean upStationary & Equipment Management:Ensure an ongoing availability of stationery and photocopy paper supplies as required by the businessResponsible for all photocopier/printer/fax problems and provide access to the floor for repairsMail & Delivery:Main point of contact for all incoming office mail and special deliveriesSort mail dailyGeneral Maintenance:Will conduct daily floor for maintenance checks (lights and carpet stains) ensuring a high standard of up-keep and placing calls for all necessary repairsWill provide access to floor for maintenance vendors as neededRequired Education, Skills and Qualifications1+ years experience in office administration/coordinatorPost-secondary diploma in related fieldExcellent communication and presentation skillsGreat computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Must have strong organizational and customer service skillsExcellent people skills with strong time and project management skillsMust have a positive “can do” attitudeCompany ProfileCompass Group Canada is the leading food service and support services company in Canada with over 25,000 associates and $1.45 billion in revenues.
