Job Description – Overview

The Creative Coordinator spearheads inspiration and creative oversight across the project life- cycle. The Creative Coordinator regularly collaborates with Team Leaders, Clients and Cross- Functional Teams to transform creative vision into final output. This individual must exhibit outstanding communication and sound judgement, maintain current knowledge of industry trends and guide Team members in achieving the highest possible standards for all content.

Leads and mentors Team in the creative process
Guides Team to problem solve and present solutions to Team Leaders and Clients
Works closely with peers and sets a tone of partnership between Teams, providing technical and creative expertise and collaboration as neede
Relays feedback to collaborating Team members effectively and diplomatically over the life of a job
Works with Team Leader to strategize creative development processes for a variety of projects
Conducts current market research
Ensures all aspects of creative jobs stay trend-forward, original and imaginative
Conceptualizes and compiles inspirational visuals to communicate creative vision, and ensures design integrity from concept through execution
Reviews work with Team Leader to ensure it is approved and ready for Clients
Pitches creative concepts to Clients
Enters and monitors project information in MARVIN
Reviews Client change requests to determine impact on timeline, cost, etc.
Negotiates timelines with Cross-Functional Teams to ensure all deadlines are met
Navigates conflicting opinions while maintaining established standards and vision
Builds strong relationships with Clients and serves them as a credible and trusted advisor
Serves as point of contact for Clients and Cross-Functional Teams, keeping all informed of project vision
Represents the interests of the Client during interaction with Cross-Functional Teams
Works with Client to gather job information and materials, including product samples, new merchandise, timelines, etc.
Establishes honest and realistic expectations with Clients regarding timeline, budget, resources, etc.
Balances Client desires, business requirements and design standards
Assesses workload and resources, and conveys information to the Team Leader to help with job assignment
Informs Team Leader of any work-related issues
Suggests changes to improve performance or process
Solves problems proactively with patience and intelligence
Fulfills responsibilities with a positive attitude
Adapts to additional duties and tasks
Maintains a clean and orderly workstation
Follows all Art/Creative safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)

Job Description – Requirements

Determined listener and self-starter who follows and gives directions carefully and clearly
Excellent relationship-building, collaboration and leadership skills
Strong understanding of design and print/web production
Passion for design, art trends and style
An exceptional eye for design
Current and expanding knowledge of industry trends
Strong creative conceptualization skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong organizational and project-management skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks without affecting quality
Excellent attention to detail
Strong time-management skills
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to give, accept and apply critique and feedback
Ability to work both independently and with a Team
Proficient Mac and Microsoft Office Skills
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to perform Key Responsibilities as described with or without accommodation
Ability to perform job duties at the corporate office in Oklahoma City (Accommodation for location flexibility, such as telecommuting, is not available.)

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field required
1 or more years of comparable work experience preferred
