Boutique Berkeley Therapy Center Seeks Fully Remote, Trauma-Informed EMDR TherapistEvergreen Counseling is a boutique, trauma-informed therapy center located in the heart of Berkeley, California in the landmark Wells Fargo building.From our beautiful suite of offices with sweeping views of the Berkeley hills, we provide high-quality, private-pay therapy services to individual adults, adult couples, families, and adolescents from across the Bay Area and, even before COVID, online therapy services to all residents of California who seek our services.We are currently seeking a qualified therapist who lives anywhere in California and who holds an active clinical license to join our team with the expectation that you would provide online therapy to our clientele.This position is an exempt, full-time position. The start date of this position is either ASAP or rolling until the position is filled.Clinical Therapist Job DescriptionQualifications & Hiring Preferences:Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work. PhD’s, PsyD’s, LMFT’s, LPCC’s, LCSW’s are welcome to apply.Active, unrestricted California-licensed clinician registered and in good standing with the BBS. A copy of the license must be provided to Evergreen Counseling.Must have post-graduate trauma training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, or another comparable trauma treatment modality and/or possess a clinical work history that equips you to work well with clientele with attachment trauma/developmental trauma.Available to maintain a caseload of 24 – 26 patients provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Evergreen Counseling.Must have a professional, soundproof home office with reliable internet and phone service.Compassionate, warm, personable, hard-working, and reliable.Hours: Since this is a remote position, you will be able to set your own ideal schedule provided you maintain a caseload of 24 – 26 patients weekly.Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform EMDR services to patients of Evergreen Counseling, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Evergreen Counseling.Respond to patients’ requests and communications within 24 hours (or on the next business day).Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: progress and case notes, treatment plans, termination notes.
