The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.
The Wells Fargo credit cards Search Engine Marketing Operations Consultant will lead Operations, including digital campaign operations, legal and compliance approvals, and control processes, among other responsibilities, for the effective marketing and distribution of Wells Fargo credit card products via Paid Search, one of Wells Fargo credit cards most important acquisition channels. She/he will deliver profitable growth for the bank by helping to get the right credit card products and offers in front of the right customers at the right time via the channels they are shopping online.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead Wells Fargo credit cards Paid Search marketing operations, including, but not limited to:
Partnering closely with Paid Search channel lead and media agency partners to ensure that approved, optimal creative and targeting is accurately deployed
Manage billing and 3rd party vendor management requirements for Paid Search channel
Partner with internal teammates and external agency partners to deliver marketing landing page optimization, management, approvals, and deployments
Conduct regular reviews of day-to-day operations with external partners to identify areas for improvement
Manage Paid Search Agile team entries within Agile task management system
Legal and Compliance
Partnering closely with legal and compliance partners, Paid Search channel lead, and media agency partners to ensure that all creative, targeting, and capabilities are brought to market in an effective manner that meets all regulatory standards
Manage marketing asset submission and approvals via asset approval management tools
Support evaluation of Control workflows across channels to recommend process improvements or define new processes to gain efficiencies
Partner closely with Paid Search channel lead to complete all Control audits and assessments in an accurate and timely fashion
Support paid media team as additional point of contact with vendors and external partners, ensuring that all campaigns are launched correctly and in a timely fashion
Work closely with all paid media channel partners to deploy coordinated product campaigns that create a unified digital ecosystem experience for our customers
2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platform (i.e mobile or social media) demonstrated through work or military experience
Other Desired Qualifications
2-3 years digital marketing experience: Ad operations, paid media digital marketing (Search, Display/Native, Social Media) management and execution highly desirable
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills• Agile marketing experience a plus
2-3 years’ experience working with or for vendor and agency management
2-3 years’ experience actively managing, reporting on, and optimizing digital marketing campaigns and tactics
Problem Solving/Critical Thinking – Ability to think strategically about downstream impacts for initiatives
Analytical/Technical mindset – Enjoy challenges and determining workarounds or alternatives in response to technical and/or regulatory limitations, leveraging data and market research
Start-up mentality – Over time, master the marketing channel and become an advocate internally with other stakeholder groups
Experience pulling data and preparing results for review with Sr. business leaders
Experience marketing in regulated industry, and working closely with Legal and Compliance partners to market products in a manner that meets all regulatory standards
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Experience with digital marketing platforms (SA360, DV360, Social media platforms, Jira) preferred
