Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performance of ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility equipment
Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
General interior maintenance – painting, hanging pictures, installing white boards, repairing doors and locks, performing safety inspections (exit signs, extinguishers), etc.
Update work order status in real time, respecting all service level agreement (SLA)
Manage vendor appointments at different locations on a daily basis
Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment as directed
Must be willing and able to support after hours building related activity as required for emergencies
Must be willing to work at different location in Manhattan and Queens
Communicate professionally and regularly with the client in person and via the CMMS
Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
Report to the Facilities Manager for project direction

Other tasks as assigned:
Complete Hazard Assessments as necessary
Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas
Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them
Must complete all required safety trainings as scheduled
Attend work and meetings as required

1+ years hands-on experience in the facilities, construction or related industry
Experience with painting, patching, sheetrock repair
Technical working knowledge of building systems
Excellent communication and organization skills, both verbally and through electronic communication
